My new name!

I called myself Esposa de Isolante when I signed on because I hadn't gotten my name, but my husband did. (He began a few months before me.) I thought I'd have to wait until the Batizado. Charleston Capoeira has their's is in October. But today: Surprise Surprise! Many of the newer capoeiristas were named today. So, as you may be able to see, I am now Caneta! I'm proud of this. It is because I am a writer. (caneta is pen, or ballpoint pen) as I am told.

That is a great feeling. I really feel welcomed now. Yay me!

oh, Joaninha, we all are either pre-pubbed or pubbed. I have no PAID publications. One of my early short stories (read, not my best work, but ok.) is on magnoliamagicmagazine.com titled "First Love First Aid" My pen name is Leigh Royals.
