Yup let's hope it goes away by itself. I am hoping same!
I never said you look like a dumpling *grins*. I just reminded, does I used to love coxinhas till I became vegetarian (but ya, I am not 100% vegetarian, because when I am invited to eat somewhere I sure won't tell that person what to cook, but I avoid then eating too much). I am not sure when my next trip to vancouver will be, students life makes it harder ti travel when you have to pay studies and apartment yourself. Will see, maybe I find one million shinies around the corner on the floor heh.
You're going to Japan? Where in Japan? We've got a whole bunch of folk from Japan in our group here :-)
Yeah, the Brazil trip is going to cost me an arm and a leg. Seriously, the airfare alone from here is going to run me somewhere around $3000 CDN. But the thing is, prices seem to go up rather than down the longer one waits, so ...
Apparently me & some folk from the group are going to be on a Chinese TV show this weekend. Never a dull moment in Shangers. When exactly is the Victoria Batizado? You mean Berimbau from HK is going? I had heard sooooo many stories about him and I was so nervous the first time I went to HK .... But he was really nice everytime I trained there (which has been quite few) - I've been told it was 'cuz I was just visiting :-P
I am sure you'll kick ass! And it's awesome that you've gotten to keep Lelo for a few months. I surely do miss getting yelled at in Portuguese. We had a contra mestre and an instrutor from August to October, but since then our fearless leader Diego has been holding down the fort (he actually had to take about a month off in Nov, and it was me & Bos, now that was a gong show!) We've got lots of stuff coming up ... Performances and a weekend workshop with a contra mestre from Japan. I'm trying to sort a deal with one of the local expat associations where they help us promote "into to capoeira" workshops every couple of months, we'll see how that goes. Our little grupinho is growing, I would guess there are about 30 of us now ...
Are you going to Brazil in the summer? We've got a trip end of July to mid-August ... I can't wait! I hope my knee is somewhat better by then ... It's still kinda f***ety but I'm kinda working around it. I hate the winter time, it makes me feel even older and creakier than usual :-P
Have mad fun in Victoria and keep up the pic posting!
I see. Well bout my knee, tore crucial ligaments. The doctor gave me two options actually, a surgery or the slight chance of let it heal itself the natural way. Since I am not friend of surgeries, and it would be the second on that knee, I decided the natural way wich means have for a long period pain and no training. Doctor spoke bout 10-14 months, so soon I get to train again I hope. The pain is gone actually, just on cold days I can feel it, and right now we have plenty of those days here. Maybe I should eat more "coxinha's" hahahahaha! Your right those are indeed very yummy. I am glad you get to a Batizado soon, let me know how it was. I should visit my family in vancouver someday and come see myself why your apelido is coxinha ^_^ Last time I was I visited two academias but not many people around, like 4 were in class along with the instrutor.
Mhm, me also, thanks. Yeah I know you got similar probs, I still remember ^_^ (I guess most just don't saw I am one of the first members of espaço who is back again heh)
O, yes! I've had the movie since it came out 3+ years ago =) I love Edward!
... I'm sorry, I don't recognize your pic. What is that?

Capoeira Apelido and its meaning/explanation:
Coxinha-type of brazilian delicacacy, very yummy. It is tear-shaped with fried dough on the outside and chicken on the inside. (Look at my profile picture)
Apparently my personality reflects a coxinha o_O I"ll leave you to interpret that :P
