Capoeira Apelido and its meaning/explanation:

El Abuelo, Means gandpa. Portuguese for grand father is Vovô, but i use the spanish word for two reasons:
México is so young in capoeira that a 40 year old man is considered "old" so many people call me like that naturally, even if they don´t know it´s my apelido.
In general brasilians understand the word Abuelo without effort, and ther are so many Vovôs that Abuelo comes more original.

I have also the apelido "Cognac" because for portuguese pronunciation it sounds like may actual name.

About Me:

I have been practicing capoeira for more than twelve years. In 2008 in a formatura with M. Acordeón (UCA) i recived the degree of professor.
Right now i´m very interested in the work of Nestor Capoeira and his ideas about Vadiagem.
For this reson i started A Tripulaçao as acapoeira proyect with ome ideas that for my country might sound quite new, althought they have been around in capoeira for a very long time.
