About Me:
I am once again looking for a capoeira class, as my teacher has stopped teaching it at the studio I was going to. Potential of having at the University, but as it stands, it looks like it is already full...Agh! Search for a capoeira up here for 3 years, and I get half a year of classes...just a tease. *sigh*

Thankfully, my breakdancing classes have been hugely helpful with some of the kicks, almost all of the freezes and other moves. Very glad the class did what I hoped it would do. Now...just gotta mix in my hip hop class and my Scottish Broadsword class, and let's see what I come up with.

It's about time!

As per usual, my capoeira has been painfully sporadic. Once again I will attempt to get into the class being held at the Uni (if only I can find it.. for some reason neither the teacher nor the class is showing up in the class catalog.. figures). There is once again hope in my heart.

My exciting news is that Anchorage had a visiting Mestre! I was able to experience a roda, with a mestre, live music and song, and experienced capoeiristas (as in more than my teacher) for the first time. It was a… Continue

So Excited!

After a year of not being able to practice capoeira because of the lack of a teacher, I may finally be back in! And a three hour session every Saturday at that! I am going to be so incredibly, lovely sore... Ah, to be back.. a wonderful thing.

Capoeira in New Zealand

It has been ridiculously hard to find. Every town that I go to, I check and see if anyone knows if there is capoeira in that town. When there is, I am given a phone number to call. I have yet to have luck actually contacting the people the phone numbers belong to! OR, if I am able to find out where and when the roda or class is, it is always on a day that I will be in another town. *shakes fist* So close, and yet so incredibly far away! I may have to ignore my brother on one of my last evenings… Continue

April Showers? Yeah...riiiight.

Edit: April 30, 2008
It continues to snow....with promise for more tomorrow. Big, fat, white flakes...
April 24, 2008
Again with the snow, and after a good chunk had melted. It was a snowfall of massively record breaking poportions.
April 15, 2008
The snow, it has fallen yet again...
It is April 10, 2008.
In the last week, we have had three full days of snow. It seems summer has come and gone without so much as a by-your-leave… Continue

Haha it won't be changed, there are not enough guys. Atleast not in this school. Yeah the cattiness allready started and about the daddy thing, it happens since so many young girls who don't got enough daddy love will look for it in theyr life but I am good at avoiding and ignoring...

I just got myself three new books also. I think I am going to get all of Paulo Coelho's books in the next months. Have read 3 books of him and am surprised! He is real good, just for non catholics he has some passages who may be too "catholic", I myself just change them by myself while reading.

So how warm is it again in summer in Alaska?

Haha! I am not much into biographies either, I mean... would anyone read mine if I write one? The tought is funny tho *grins*. Well right now I am alot into Paulo Coelho's books and one of the books who impressed me most in the last 6 months was The Last Lecture from Randy Pausch - Funny this one could be misunderstood as biography...

What else... school... I feel like in a high school girls lockerroom... we are only 2 males and 22 females and the they are young... atleast 10 years younger then me so you can imagine, well try atleast, I mean for a girl maybe it's fun...

I want to practice asap, need something to distract from the days in the lockersroom heh.

Well I better get to work for a start, take care and hmm... you live in a library! That's good, just reminds me of Inkheart hehe so don't let anything out the books...

Hmm... What shall I say. I do like books and enjoy reading, tho I am more into another kind of books then Scarlet Pimpernel. I think this is the way it has to be or the writters of the books I read would not sell theyr books if everyone would have same preferences hehe. Well just keep looking for it, I am sure you will find a copy of the book. BUT! Make some place for the ginga heh! Or is there enough place in the living room maybe? Mirror, music! You are set! Let's start! Ginga!

You will always find room for ginga ^_^

Well I do remember those books and the mess in the room... hmm! How about getting rid of what you don't need and make some place in the room! I lost my ninja suit so I can't come check it out haha x_x

Who knows maybe you will get to train before Fall. Just ginga at home infront of the mirror. I know so many Mestres who will tell you to ginga, some even would ask you to replace walking by ginga. The base is the most important. So get to ginga!
