I got asked to design a logo for this capoeira instructor, I didn't know much about capoeira at the time and thought it sounded a little dumb to be honest. But, after I got done with the design I thought I should at least see what this thing was all about. After a three hour class were I almost past out I was in love with capoeira.

So you know Mestre Suassuna?
He trained meu premiero mestre, Marcelo (the guy who did the motion-capture for Eddy Gord in Tekken), who founded Capoeira Mandinga

Now here in Hawaii, I'm under Capoeira Senzala's Prof. Japa, but there's also a Cordao de Ouro here, originally with Contra-Mestre Pintado...however, he went back to Brazil.
