yea im Rican, but sadly i don't speak Spanish good enough, i think enough to manage a vacation in PR like some tourist haha, i blame my parents for not speaking spanish in the house when i was young. But they insist that its my fault, at 5 yrs old i made the choice to talk English. What a load of crap, sorry. I get frustrated just thinking about it. I'm actually leaving to PR this Saturday with 2 other friends =). I wasnt born in PR but my parents were, one from San Lodezo, n Juana Diaz. I prolly spelt those wrong didn't i ?

Here's a suggestion: Since this is a site for Capoeiristas, the religion section should offer the option of Traditional African Religions, Santeria, Candomblé, Umbanda, etc. In my case, "other" means Candomblé - I'm proud to be a member of the Ilé Axé Opo Afonjá community (though I'm just a novice)

wow you where in NYC around February of this year, i just missed you. =) i recently stoped training regional to train strictly Capoeria Angola. I've been at João Grande's for the past month every weekend training, its the only time i have until i find new work and get a better schedule. I must say wow very new blog, i havent gotten around to reading the whole thing yet but i will, i'm very interested in your story. Can i ask how did you find out about this website? just curious. . . also Welcome to Site nice to you have you here. =)
