Homecoming

After 6 long months of recovery in Brazil from an ACL repair, my teacher, our Contra-Mestre, is back at our Brooklyn studio. The Discovery

I started capoeira in September of this year. It had already been a long year of illness, disappointments, and unemployment. I hadn't been to the gym in months partly because I didn't feel well and partly because of dreading those boring cardio machines in the over-heated, over-hyped, unfriendly Crunch.
