Alaskan summers range in temp, depending on where and when. *grin* In my area though, it usually likes to hang around 22-25 C. I am hoping we have a nice summer this year... it was rather chilly last summer. Not that I was here to experience it....
Well, if the ratio was switched (22 guys, 2 girls), I would have fun. I get along better with guys in general. That many women/girls in a room... watch out for the cattiness. *nods sagely* And do try not to feel like the "daddy" of the group. ;)
Speaking of libraries, I was just there at lunch and already I need to go back and pick up another book. Wheee!
I haven't had consistent training myself. It's pretty much whenever I can show up. I did go to an event for Capoeira Batuque in November. It was a magia. Training and absorbing. Digesting and regurgitating in the roda.
Ouch, sucks to tear any ligaments in the knee, hope your knee heals well. The knee is probably the last body part a capoeirista wants to injure. My doc gave me the options of surgeries too, but I don't think it's bad enough for that yet. I'm hoping it'll just go away by itself.
Lol (about my apelido), I sure don't look like a dumpling ;) Hmmm yes, there are down times at our academy sometimes. Generally it's tough when our main instructor goes away, it's tough to keep the energy up. So you probably dropped by around that time. Yah for sure, let me know when you're in vancouver!
That WAS my living room that I was a-talkin' about. :) I read all sorts of books. Classics, mystery, fantasy, sci-fi, thriller, history, general fiction, etc. Yups. I am well-rounded, though getting me to touch biographies of any sort is rather unlikely.
Cool that you're back...though to be honest, I haven't been very active on here for quite a while, either. That's too bad about your knee, I hope it'll heal eventually. I am, by the way, super-excited for you about going to university! =)
Lol I wouldn't call that cordao that new, I got it last year in February. I was nervous about getting it, wasn't sure if I felt ready or not yet at that time.
I'll be going to the Victoria Batizado in March soon, I can't wait! I miss the energy of batizados, haven't gone to one since July.
What! Get rid of my books! (Actually.... I did get rid of about 5 shopping bags worth of books... Of course, I have probably replaced them by now.. *looks innocent*) I am actually trying to figure out how I can keep an excellent and beautiful and rather RARE copy of the Scarlet Pimpernel (Four novels in one volume) that I checked out from the library. Such a beautiful book..... *sigh*
