Hey Allie! Thanks for the request :) I haven't been able to make it to RI for your events yet, but I'd like to. I've trained with Tigri when he gets down to this area, and know Doninha and the Grupo Ondas folks in VA.
Hey Allie, como vai? I haven't been around for a few weeks, I missed capoeira so much! I have been playing at least 4 hours the past three days, today I'm a little sore... :) What's new with you? Training going well? Just saying what's up, hope you are well.
thats cute... what does it mean? you know, you come across a nickname just like that, someone starts calling you something, and either it sticks or it doesnt. its only your name when you start calling yourself that. my name changed recently. i used to be papagaio, which means parrot. it was meant to be embarrasing , like many capoeira names (it implies that i talk too much)... but recently it changed to 'smile', and that was given to me by a brazilian guy (and of course i like that name better).
How's training doen in RI these days?
Hope we'll get down there in the next month or so - If not, we'll definately see you up in Boston in December right?
