My name is Bolinha, it was given by my first Contra-Mestre, Contra-Mestre Bundo. Yes..."little ball".. Everyone that's heard my name kept on saying "awwww...how cute." hahahah the reason i got that name was the exact opposite! it's a rather long story, so if you are curious, ask me. My real name is Freya, you can call me either or...whatever is easy for you.

I've been playing capoeira since 2004, where I was baptized by Mestre Tarzan in 2005. I injured my elbow in 2006 and I am finally training again, even though it never properly healed. I live in New York and my grupo is Capoeira Angola Quintal, under Mestre Ombrinho.

I previously trained with my root group, Grupo Bantu, under Contra-Mestre Bundo (Jacksonville,FL). I've done some traveling and moving around, so I have trained at other academies, such as Grupo Negaça<<------ now known as Grupo Argola de Ouro (Jkt, Indonesia) & partied with Cordão De Ouro (Atlanta) hahahah

I'm also a fashion designer...in training..heheheh...
