Roots of the Dance-Fight-Game, an excellent book.

I'm almost through reading a book I picked up just 3 days ago. Capoeira: Roots of the Dance-Fight-Game was written by Nestor Capoeira. It is number two in a series of three books. I'll be picking the other two up over the next couple of months.

This is really an excellent book that covers the history and philosophies behind Capoeira. It has opinions not just of the author, but of other well known Capoeiristas to include words of both Mestre Bimba and Mestre Pastihna. Both Angola… Continue
